Step 1: Press the OK button.

Step 2: Right click on the desktop to show a menu.
Choose "Configure Desktop" from this menu.

The Configure KDesktop Screen should pop up.

Step 3: Choose the Behavior tab on the left side.

Step 4: Uncheck the "Show icons on desktop" and press the "Apply" button.
Step 5: Recheck the "Show icons on the desktop" and press the "Apply" button."

Result: You should now see the Install icon appear in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
Finally: Press OK to get the "Configure KDesktop" screen to disappaer.
